Favour Boxes Information

The Card Kit Company have teamed up with Granny Jacksons to provide favour boxes filled with top quality scottish sweets.  This page provides an overview of the options available to you.

We currently have 10 different colours of ribbons in stock as shown below.  You can have any colour of ribbon for the black boxes, but we think that the darker shades look better.  The final picture shows a rainbow printed favour box with the message "Our Celebration" which would be suitable for civil partnerships.

The following picture shows our range of Favour Boxes which co-ordinate with our range of Wedding Stationery.  As with the ribbons if you would like a different colour to match your theme please send us a sample of the desired colour.

The following photograph shows the selection of sweets that are currently available as options on our website.  You will receive approximately 60g of sweets per box order, which is equal to a generous 10 boiled sweets.  The sweets are sealed in individual bags within the box.  If you would like different sweets please contact us with your request and we'll let you know as soon as possible if we'll be able to meet your requirements.

The sweets shown are: 

Sugared Fruit Jellies - Soft chewy fruit sweets which are sure to take you back to your childhood.

Bulls Eyes - Mint flavoured boiled sweets with black and white stripes.

Teddy Bears - Another childhood favourite, and they're sugar free.

Scottish Tablet - These are Bits of Butter Tablet which most people think tastes better than the perfectly square variety. A great Scottish speciality you must try at least once in your life! A popular sweet with both young and old.

Edinburgh Rock - Is a soft, crumbly fruit flavoured rock that melts in your mouth. A Scottish delicacy!

Saltire Rock - Probably one of newest and most patriotic sweets created since Scottish devolution! With it's authentic 'fruit' flavour some people think it tastes of the nation's favourite soft soft drink... Perhaps it does! Delicious down to the last sook!

Pear Drops - These Sugar Free and Gluten Free Sweets are suitable for Vegetarians and most Diabetics. They are also lower in calories than normal sugar sweets.

Old Fashioned Mix - A great Scottish mix of Old Favourites from Edinburgh. With a mix of different shapes, colours and flavours, these are amazingly tasty! You'll find all kinds of flavours here from Strawberry to Mint and Cinnamon to Rhubarb.

Soor Plooms - Highly recommended if you want to surprise your guests with these sour sweets.

If you go for the kit you will receive flat pack favour boxes and decorations.  The flat pack boxes are pre-scored and really easy to assemble - no glue is required.  You will receive enough ribbon/decorations for your order, with a bit spare just in case.
